I’m Moataz, 26 years old and of Palestinian descent. As a child, I was already interested in justice, human rights, and helping people understand each other better.
Since 2023, I’ve been working as a community builder at Riekerhaven. I manage budgets, organize events, and help residents connect more with one another. In this way, we’re building a strong and friendly neighborhood together.
I am also the chair of the Startblok Actief! Foundation. This foundation is committed to improving the living environment and strengthening connections between people from different cultures. We want everyone to feel at home.
Alongside my work, I study law, with a strong interest in human rights. In the future, I want to work toward greater equality and justice in society.
I believe that community building is a powerful way to bring people together and create positive change.
